Clifton Connection Golf day raises £1500 for Cots for Tots appeal.

The Cots for Tot charity golf day took place yesterday with the event raising a fanGolf Swingtastic £1500 for the Bristol based charity. The event hosted by the Clifton Connection and facilitated by eSE was a huge success, bringing together 18 Clifton based offices and firms to compete against each other for the golfing top spot. The day proved to have a very competitive spirit with a number of prizes and titles up for grabs.

We are pleased to announce that First Class Comms were the main competition winners walking away with the top prize – a four ball golf day at Castle Coombe Golf Course. eSE’s own Andrew Bell and his team were the main competition runners up with Amarelle finishing in third place. There was also a Par 3 Competition with John Hayfield of The Brunel in Clifton taking the title.

Andrew Bell speaking at the event said “We are thrilled by the level of support from Clifton Connection firms taking part today. The money raised will go a long way towards funding the specialist equipment the charity so desperately needs”. Alistair Allison, co-founder of the Clifton Connection, was equally pleased with the turnout for the event “I am very pleased that Clifton Connection members got behind the cause and gave it their all today, it is hugely encouraging to see local business come together in aid of charity”.

eSE would like to thank all of the teams who took part in the day as well as the work by the Clifton Connection setting up the event. We would also like to thank the sponsors for donating some great prizes, and a final thank you to The Player’s Club for allowing us to facilitate the event at a fantastic local venue.

Photographs from the event can be Golf cHEQUEfound on a special online gallery at We are already looking forward to the next tournament at the start of September as well as finalising a summer drinks reception for members and their partners in July.
